AYURDENT TOOTHPASTE
A non-foaming toothpaste made from purely natural ingredients − without foaming agents, fluoride, and preservatives. In addition to the Ayurvedic triphala mixture, this toothpaste contains neem, clove oil, and many other herbs in high concentrations, all of which are known to be beneficial for the teeth. Peppermint and camphor make for lasting fresh breath. Very concentrated.
TONGUE CLEANER
After brushing the teeth, one should clean the tongue, because in many cases a coating forms on the tongue overnight. This mixture of toxins and bacteria is often the cause of bad breath, periodontosis, or tooth decay. The tongue coating should not be allowed to find its way back into the body again. For this reason Ayurveda lays special emphasis on cleaning the tongue in the morning. It is best to use a special tongue cleaner. The whole thing takes only a few seconds, but has excellent benefit for your whole well-being. Cleaning of the tongue has even received backing from the top level of the American Dental Association. “I really think that it takes oral hygiene onto a higher level,” said Richard Price, professor of dentistry in Boston and spokesman for the Association. An original quote from the classical Ayurveda textbook Charak Samhita says: “Deposits on the tongue compromise the breath and are the cause of bad breath. The tongue should therefore be cleaned regularly.”
