BASMATI RICE
Because of its delicious aroma, Basmati rice is also known as ‘fragrant rice’. It is easily digestible, and brings all three doshas into balance. For this reason, it is highly prized in Ayurveda.
GHEE (CLARIFIED BUTTER)
Ghee is the pure fat from butter. In Ayurveda it is especially prized for its health-promoting qualities. It balances Pitta and Vata, and when used in small amounts it stimulates the digestive fire. It is ideal as cooking fat, also for frying.
