Vaidya Jagdish N. Vaidya earned bachelor and doctorate degrees in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery at the prestigious Gujarat Ayurveda University in India. He worked as a graduate student and later as professor of ‘Kaya Chikitsa’ (internal medicine of Ayurveda) at State Ayurvedic College in Gujarat. In addition, he was director and head of the Panchakarma department in a number of government hospitals in the state of Gujarat. Since 1994 he has travelled to several continents and is a representative of Maharishi Ayurveda. He currently runs a Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre in The Netherlands.
