Panchsakar Churna Food Supplement, Ayurvedic herbal preparation
Panchsakar Churna is a simple yet precious combination of herbs that decrease the Vata dosha and at the same time increase “agni”*) and Pitta. The haritaki power fruit (Terminalia chebula) is one of the myrobalan fruits and a well-known ingredient in the widely praised “Triphala” supplement.
Haritaki has five of the six tastes (sweet, sour, astringent, bitter, spicy), and in combination with the fennel ingredient in this churna, haritaki has a soothing and calming effect. Ginger and rock salt increase agni, the digestive fire, and cassia supports the clearing of the shrotas*).
Directions
Dose for adults:
2-4 g powder (see measuring cup) 2 times a day with warm water.
Note:
Don´t use during pregnancy or breast-feeding!
Don´t use for children under 12 years!
